Get involved: Autism CRC needs your help – Supporting Children National Guideline
Autism CRC are inviting autistic people, parents, practitioners and other stakeholders to share their views regarding best practice via a community survey (open to all) and a series of focus groups (open to parents and autistic adults).
In 2020, Autism CRC completed a report for the NDIA which included an overview of ‘interventions’ provided to autistic children (ages 0-12). The report was a combination of the best available evidence but not a practice guideline. Currently, Australia lacks a national practice guideline for autistic children and their families to have access to appropriate, ethical and effective support.
To develop a practice guideline, it must combine the best available evidence with evidence from clinical practice and preferences of fully informed individuals and families.

The survey will close at 5pm AEST 29 March 2022.
