AUSSIE FRAME RUNNERS TAKE ON THE WORLD
By REBEKAH DEVLIN
Six Aussies are proudly representing their country in the Frame Running International Camp and Cup which began overnight in Copenhagen, Denmark.
There are 125 athletes from 14 countries competing in the event – which is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year.
Australia is represented by Isabella Auld, Kim Neuenkirchen, Maria Strong, Arran Keith, Thomas Mattinson and Malcolm Wilson.
Australia led the teams onto the track for the opening ceremony – with each country’s national anthem being played to great applause.
The Aussies proudly showed off their new team uniform, while Malcolm Wilson had the honour of bearing the Australian flag.
There are three days of competition, with heats of the 100m kicking off proceedings.
Our man on the ground in Denmark, Steve Andrew, from Dejay, will keep us up to date with how the team is going.
Go Aussie Go.
